Our Mission

McAlister Institute provides professional services that heal the lives of individuals and families, improving the quality of life in communities through the miracle of recovery.

Services

McAlister Institute provides a comprehensive range of substance abuse treatment, recovery, and supportive services. Together, McAlister Institute’s 25 programs represent a continuum of care that spans prevention and education, outreach, intervention, outpatient treatment, short-term and long-term residential care, aftercare, and sober living. A sliding fee scale is utilized to ensure no one is denied services based on inability to pay.

Training 

McAlister Institute provides professional trainings and continuing education for alcohol and other drug (AOD) counselors, mental health professionals, and behavioral health specialists. We work with trainers who are leaders in their respective fields to offer a wide, diverse range of trainings and accompanying continuing education units (CEUs). In order to promote professional advancement, integration, certification, and collaboration, McAlister Institute trainings are free and open to the public.
