Rosario Marin was the first Mexican born Treasurer of the United States, and held the highest role of a Latina serving in President George W. Bush’s Administration. Her 22 years of dedicated public service began well before and continued long after her tenure as the 41st US Treasurer. She has also garnered countless awards, including the highest international recognition, the distinguished Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Prize at the United Nations. Ms. Marin is a distinguished businesswoman, who has held numerous leadership positions with nonprofit boards. She is a talented author and an internationally recognized public speaker. Her life is a testimony in forging new Frontiers for women, Latinas, and naturalized citizens. Her keynote address is certain to be powerful and inspiring.
